Riverside Evictions is dedicated to handling the full spectrum of your eviction needs, including evictions for failure to pay, breach of rental agreements, “waste and nuisance,” no-cause, bank foreclosures, and post-foreclosure holdovers. I am also well versed in the related civil litigation, bankruptcy, and federal removal actions; if you need such services.

I graduated from the University of California San Diego, in 2007 with honors and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a Law and Society minor. I continued my San Diego inspired education on an academic scholarship at the University of San Diego School of Law (USD), earning my Juris Doctor, in 2009 in the top third of my class. After passing the California bar on my first attempt, I earned a Masters of Law in Taxation on a merit scholarship from the USD School of Law in 2011.

Throughout the years prior to and during law school, I gained hands-on experience from some of the top litigation firms in San Diego and by participating in the USD legal clinics program for five consecutive semesters. The USD clinic program allows certified students to fully represent clients in their legal matters while being under the supervision of experienced lawyers. After graduation, I worked as a supervising law clerk in the same USD clinic program.

My extensive pre and post-bar legal experience provided the foundation necessary to launch a career in landlord/tenant and civil litigation immediately after my admission to the California bar. I have handled over 1,000 unlawful detainer trials and argued countless other dispostive motions in both state and federal court. I am very proud to offer Riverside property owners years of experience litigating real estate related disputes on behalf of landlords, tenants, investors, and financial institutions.

I am very excited to be your Riverside Evictions Attorney, and provide your one stop shop for regaining the immediate possession of your property.

Christian Andrew Miller Curry – #164173

Bio:

Christian Curry, once a well known “tenant’s rights” attorney in San Diego, has been licensed to practice law in the State of California for over 30 years.  He founded the “Tenants Legal Center” in 1993 and spent nearly 30 years zealously representing tenants. He is a published author and recognized expert in Landlord Tenant law.  His career in this area has included assisting the courts and legislature on how procedure and legislation, and testifying on the standard of care for other attorneys in this field.

Mr. Curry was also the attorney of record in multiple published legal opinions, including Losornio v. Motta (1998) 67 Cal.App.4th 110; ASP Properties Group v. Fard, Inc. (2005) 133 Cal.App.4th 1257; and Dorsey v. Superior Court (2015) 78 Cal.App.3d 583.  These cases decided important Landlord-Tenant issues affecting service of process in almost all unlawful detainer cases, and the duties to “repair” verses “replace” structural items in commercial leases.  These cases even addressed the right to legal fees.  He also represented tenants in numerous class actions to enforce tenant’s rights.

In addition, Mr. Curry conducted extensive training seminars for, among others, the U.S. Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, various apartment associations, government agencies, and other organizations on Landlord-Tenant law.  He holds the rank of Captain in the Honorary Deputy Sheriff’s Association, and has served as a Judge Pro Tempore in Small Claims and Traffic Court.

Mr. Curry joined our team in 2024. With his distinguished background in all areas of this field, he is highly revered and continues to be an asset to our clients and our team in furthering our mission to help owners and landlords regain their properties.

Of this change from Tenants to Landlords, Mr. Curry has said “it’s a natural progression. My interest has always been justice and helping the little guy.  In this day, that’s the landlord. Recent changes in the law have favored tenants so much that landlords now need extraordinary counsel from the outset of any issue. That is the service I now strive to provide”
